Just for the fact that you walked into a room where your favorite lipstick was smeared all over your (new?) couch by your daughter and you had the where-with-all to think, "i ought to capture this moment because i know 10, 20, maybe 50 years from now we might look back on this and laugh," instead of throwing a huge mom-sized tantrum right and then sticking your head in the oven proves that you are superior to all beings. For reals.
THANK GOD for Spot Shot and Goo Gone. They got it all off everything!
I knew she had been being too quiet for too long. She was so happy to show me what she had done and I was like "don't touch anything!" and took her picture to document, then put her in the bath. She said "Why are you sad? I happy!" She was delighted with herself. It took forever to get the waxy lipstick off of her but by the time I scrubbed it all off she seemed to realize the gravity of her actions and went willingly into time out.
Then yesterday she got into mor lipstick but ONLY put it on her mouth! I told her "Good job!!!"
oh, uh wow. i guess a little chalk dust is NOTHING compared to cleaning up that! Not to mention losing a pricey tube of lipstick. You're so go-with-the-flow in situations like these, i just can't access that part of my brain!
No, I wasn't very go-with-the-flow, I was really upset. But I knew I had to take pictures for posterity...yeah, it does put the chalk dust into perspective.
love the foot and that she painted it all with lipstick. i would love to see this process and how she went about it. she's going to be a famous artist someday.

ohhhhh... that's unfortunate. You'll have to explain Lolly's sudden port-wine stains for quite awhile.
The hand prints on the wall look like a scene from a horror movie.
